Matar Samosa

All purpose flour – 1 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Green peas (Steamed and mashed) – 1 ½ cup
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Green chilli sauce/paste – 1 tbsp
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Dry mango powder – 1 ½ tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil for fry – 1/2 cup
All purpose flour – 2 tsp
Water – 2 tsp
Take large bowl and add all purpose flour with salt and ghee. Then rub ghee into flour mixture with your fingers until it resembles loose bread crumbs.
Add water slowly and knead to make soft dough. Roll the dough into ball and cover with a moist muslin cloth and keep aside.
Make flour paste by combining the flour and water.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 2 tbsp ghee into inner cooking pot and let it melt. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and allow it to crackle. Tip in the chilli paste and sauté all together for 1 min.
Add green peas with all powder masala, salt and cook till pea mixture become dry. Now take it off and set the peas mixture aside to cool down.
Now divide the dough into small balls and roll them into thin circles. Cut each rolled out circles into two halves by running your knife down the centre, so you have 2 semi circles into cones and using a teaspoon fill tem with peas mixture.
Then dab the flour paste along the edges of the open side of the cone, press the two edges together and seal. Make all samosa in same process and keep aside.
Now clean the pot and press manual button on robocook and add 1/2 cup oil for fry into inner cooking pot and wait for few min to get heated.
Once oil is hot drop samosa in hot oil and deep fry them until they are golden brown.
Remove the matar samosa and drain them on kitchen paper.
Serve hot samosa with green chutney, sauce or imli chutney
