Mince mutton -250 gms
Basmati rice - 3 cups (500 gms)
Onion -3
Green chilli - 3
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
Coriander powder - ½ tsp
Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Whole garam masala – cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, star anise
Jeera -½ tsp
Enough salt
Fried cashews- 5 No’s
Coriander leaves - handful
Wash the basmati rice and soak it for 15 minutes. Cut onions and green chillies. Now start the cooking process.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil and ghee to the inner cooking pot and let it warm a bit. Then add whole garam masala, jeera and let it splutter. Now add the onion and saute till it turns to deep brown colour.
Next add ginger garlic paste, green chillies and continue sauting. Then add minced keema and saute well.
Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, enough salt and saute for a minute. Finally add 1 cup water and stir well. Press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Manual’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. It’s time to add the rice to the cooked meat and add water check for enough salt and cover the lid again as said above.
Press the ‘Manual’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. Once the cooking is done ensure the pressure is completely released. Now open and give a gentle stir.
Garnish with fried cashews and chopped coriander leaves.
