Mushroom Santula

Mushroom - 300 gms
Ridge gourd- 250 gms
Potato – 100 gms
Onion – 2
Garlic – 8 cloves
Ginger – 1 Inch
Tomato - 2
Green chillies- 4
Cooking Oil – 50 gms
Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Garam Masala powder – 1 tbsp
Salt- to taste
Slice Onions, tomatoes and dice the potatoes into 1 cm cubes. Peel off the skin & cut the Ridge gourd into small cubes. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into two halves. Make ginger garlic paste.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Temper with Mustard and Cumin seeds.
Add onions, green chillies and sauté till it becomes translucent. Then add ginger garlic paste and continue to sauté for 3 minutes.
Next add tomatoes, turmeric powder, Chilli powder, Cumin powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala powders one by one and cook till the oil separates. Add salt to taste.
Further add potatoes, Ridge gourd and sauté till the veggies turn soft. Finally add 200 ml of water and mix well. Press cancel to stop sauté.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Gravy’ option pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select “Medium”. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 8 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Press sauté mode. Add mushrooms to the gravy and cook only for 3 Minutes.
Once done switch to “keep warm or off” mode. Garnish with coriander leaves. Mix well before serving.
Mushroom Santula is ready to serve with Rice/Roti
