Schezwan Macaroni
preparation time: 15 minutes | cooking time: 30 minutes | servings: 2 - 3
Ingredients:
Macaroni- 100 Gm
Water-As required
Salt -1 Tsp
Oil -1 1/2 Tbsp
Garlic -1/2 Tsp Finely Chopped
Ginger- 1/2 Tsp
Onion - 1 Finely Chopped
Green Capsicum -1/2
Yellow Capsicum- 1/2
Red Capsicum -1/2
Baby Corn – 1 cup
Carrot – 1 cup
Mushrooms – 1 cup
Salt –As required
Pepper- 1/2 Tsp
Soy Sauce -1 Tsp
Schezwan Sauce- 2 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup- 2 Tbsp
Chili Flakes- 1/4 Tbsp
Coriander Leaves- Chopped
Steps:
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch the ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in the front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add some water to the inner cooking pot and allow it to boil. Add some salt and add the macaroni, Cook the macaroni till it is ¾ th cooked. Off the Robocook.
- Strain the macaroni and keep it aside (you can add some oil and toss the macaroni to prevent the macaroni from sticking to each other).
- Clean The Pot. Press the Sauté́ Button in the front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil, garlic, ginger, onions, and saute till the onions turn brown. Add the vegetables and stir fry them. Then add salt, pepper and mix well.
- Now add schezwan paste, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, and mix everything well (add water if required at this stage, you can use the water in which you cooked the macaroni).
- Now add the cooked macaroni and stir well. Finally, garnish it with red chili flakes, spring onions/ coriander leaves. (you can grate some cheese for the topping if you prefer). Switch Off the Robocook
- Serve the Schezwan Macaroni hot with tomato sauce
