Cashew nuts - 500 gm (ground) Jaggery - 125 gm Water - 50 ml Ghee - 3tsp
Steps:
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add jaggery to the inner cooking pot and allow it to melt. Add water, give a good stir and cook in manual mode for 10 mins until the jaggery comes to one string consistency.
Note that you’re good to go if a single thread is formed when you take a drop and stick between your thumb and index finger.
Add the powdered cashew nuts to the Pot and mix until everything gets combined. Next add ghee and open cook for 1-2 mins. Switch off the Robocook.
Transfer the contents to a butter paper and place another butter paper over it. Use a rolling pin and flatten the mixture, as thin or thick you want your kaju katli to be. To set, allow it to rest for half an hour.
Finally remove the top butter paper and cut the katli in diamond shape with a sharp and clean knife.
Yummy Kaju Katlis are ready to serve as a dessert.
