For cooking
Oil – 50ml
Onion – 2no (chopped)
Tomato - 2no chopped
Green chilli – 3no
Crab – 1/2kg
For paste
Coriander seeds – 2tbsp
Jeera – 1tsp
Pepper – 1tsp
Whole garam masala – each 2no
Ginger - 2inch
Garlic – 6clove
Goan dry chilli – 10no
Coconut – 1/2cup
Onion – 1no
Shallots – 7no
Tamarind pulp – 2 tbsp
Salt – as required
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add coconut, onion to the inner cooking pot and roast until onion turns golden brown color. Press cancel and remove them.
Add roasted ingredients, coriander seed, jeera, pepper, garam masala, ginger, garlic, dry chilli, tamarind pulp in a blender to a smooth paste.
Now add oil to the pot and add onion, green chilli, sauté till onion turns soft. Then add tomato, salt and cook for few minutes. After tomato turns mushy add crab and mix well.
Now add ground masala paste mix well and stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Fish’pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARMmode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Give a quick stir. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
Serve the Crab Xec Xec with chapati.
