Indian Sorrel & Mushroom Curry

Chukka koora( Sorrel leaves) – 2 bunches sorted
Mushroom – 1 cup, chopped
Green chillies – 2 nos
Curry leaves – handlful
Onions – 1/2 cup chopped
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Garlic – 3 pods chopped
Red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinches
Water – 3/4 cup
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Cooking Oil to the Cooking pot. Add Mustard seeds, Asafoetida, Curry leaves & saute till mustard seeds splatter.
Now add Garlic, Onions and stir. Continue in Saute mode for about 3-5 minutes till you see the Onions turn brown in color.
Now add Chukka koora, Turmeric powder, Salt, Coriander powder, Red chilly powder and cook till leaves become soft and the color turns to light green.
Add the Mushrooms and water.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Choose the Idly in the Menu option with taste as Medium.
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Open the cooker and switch to Sauté mode. Stir for 1 minute.
Enjoy this Gastro friendly curry with cooked rice.
