Ingredients:
Spring onion – 2 bunches
Onion (white part of spring onion) – 1/2 cup (chopped)
Green chilli – 6-7
Garlic cloves – 5
Red lentils – 1/2 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Steps:
- Soak red lentils in water for 20 min. Crush green chilli and garlic. Chop the spring onion and white onion. Keep them aside.
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add green chilli, garlic and sauté for a min.
- Next add the soaked red lentils and continue to sauté for 2 more min.
- Then add white part of spring onion and sauté for few seconds. Add the onion kept aside and sauté well until the onions turn pink.
- Do not cover the pot. Cook for 3-4 min stirring occasionally. Once done switch to “keep warm or off” mode.
- Serve hot pyaz ki patti with bhakri or chapati
