Ingredients
Rice – 1 cup
Onion – 1 chopped
Ginger and garlic – 2 tsp chopped
Tomato – 2 chopped
Capsicum – 1 chopped
Carrot – 2 chopped
Green peas – 1/2 cup
Mushrooms – 2 chopped
Paneer – ½ cup
Spring onions – 3 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
Grated cheese – 2tbsp
Salt – 1 tbsp
Water-2 cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
Steps
- Wash and soak the rice in water for 10 mins.
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Drop the paneer pieces in the oil and deep fry them. Keep it aside.
- Remove the excess oil from the pot and add chopped ginger, garlic, onion to it and sauté until it turns translucent.
- Add capsicum, carrot, mushroom, tomato, green peas one by one. Then add red chilli powder salt .Mix well and let it open cook for 2 mins.
- Then add rice and water to the pot and give it a mix. Press cancel button to stop saute.
- Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
- Press the ‘Rice’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
- After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
- Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
- Now TWIST and Open the cooker.
- Finally, add the fried paneer, grated cheese to the Spanish rice and mix it well.
- Switch to Keep warm or off mode.
- Garnish it with freshly chopped spring onions.
- Serve hot Spanish rice with fritters.
