Tiranga Bread Pakora

Gram flour – 1 cup
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Semolina – 1 tbsp
Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Water – as required
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Potato (boiled and mashed) – 4
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 6-7
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Coriander leaves – 5 tsp
Mint leaves – 3 tsp
Green chilli – 4
Lemon juices – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Tomato ketchup – 3 tsp
Bread slice - 8
Butter – 2 tsp
Cheese slice - 3
Oil for fry – 1 cup
Add Coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilli, lemon juices, cumin powder, salt, 3 tsp water to a mixer grinder and make it a fine paste. Keep it aside.
Apply butter on bread slice on both sides and keep aside.
Add gram flour, red chilli powder, semolina, garlic paste, water, baking soda, salt, ½ cup water slowly to a large bowl and whisk it well to make a smooth batter, neither thick nor too thin. Keep aside.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 2 tbsp oil to the inner cooking pot and let it warm a bit. Once oil is hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida and saute.
Then add mashed potatoes, coriander powder, salt and stir cook for another 2 min. Remove and allow it to cool down. Press cancel button.
Now take one bread slice spared tomato ketchup evenly on it and cover it with another slice.
On top of covered slice, spared the potato stuffing evenly. Also add cheese slice on it and cover it with another slice.
On top of this 3 rd covered slice, spread green chutney evenly and finally cover it with 4 th slice.
Now press manual button on robocook and add oil for fry and wait for few min. Once oil is hot cut sandwich in 2 parts and dip it in the besan/ gram flour batter.
Take care do not keep the sandwich in the batter for a long time as it tends to break.
Then drop the batter coated sandwich in hot oil and fry it until golden brown and crisp. Then drain to kitchen towel or tissue
Serve hot with green chutney and sauce.
