Ingredients
Black chickpea – 1 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Boiled potato – 2
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 6-7
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Chat masala – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Onion chopped/ ring – 1
Tomato ring/ chopped - 1
Steps
- Wash black chickpea and soak overnight.
- Add overnight soaked chickpea to the inner cooking pot along with 2 cups of water, salt and turmeric powder. Mix well. Cut boiled potato into pieces and keep aside.
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add mustard seeds and let them pop. Then add cumin seeds, curry leaves and saute for few sec.
- Now add chilli powder, chat masala, salt, potato one by one and stir well to combine
- Cook for 2 min with continues stirring. Then add chopped coriander leaves, boiled chana and cook for another 2 min. Press cancel and transfer it to a bowl.
- Now add lemon juice, onions, tomatoes to chana batata.
- Serve hot with poori or chappati.
