Ingredients:
Baby Potato- ½ kg
Onion -2
Tomato-2
Ginger-Garlic Paste- ½ tsp
Cashewnuts-6
Ghee-2 tsp
Oil- 2 tsp
Garam Masala- ½ tsp
Red Chilli Powder- ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder- ½ tsp
Salt- to taste
Kasoori Methi- 2 tsp
Coriander Leaves- a few
Water- ½ cup
Steps:
- Peel and core the baby potatoes. You can also use Big potatoes and chuck them into pieces after peeling their skin.
- Soak cashew nuts in warm water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes blend it nicely and reserve it for later use. Chop onions and tomatoes and keep them ready.
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch the ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in the front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil to the inner cooking pot followed by chopped onions, tomatoes, and ginger-garlic paste. Saute till soft and tender. Once cooked transfer it to a blender and grind to a fine paste.
- In sauté mode, add ghee and let it melt. Then add jeera, once it crackles add in red chili powder, turmeric powder garam masala and saute.
- Once oil leaves the sides add cored potatoes and salt. Continue to saute for 5 mins. Now add kasoori methi and mix well. Finally add water. Press cancel to stop saute.
- Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in the ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and the Pressure release button should be in ‘DOWN’ Position.
- Press the ‘Idly ’pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
- After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
- Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the Steps
- Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Give a quick stir and garnish with coriander leaves
- Enjoy duma loo with hot rice
