Ingredients
Raw banana peeled– 300 grm (chopped)
Onion – 1 (chopped)
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Curd – 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic– 2 tbsp (chopped)
Green chilli – 3
Mustard seeds – 2 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Garama masala – 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1tsp
Carom seeds – 1 tsp
Fenugreek leaves dry – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Mustard oil – 4 tbsp
Steps
Using a blender grind ginger garlic, green chilies, mustard seeds and make a fine paste.
Take a bowl. Add banana pieces, ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ¼ tsp of coriander powder, ¼ tsp of salt, 2 tsp of mustard oil and mix well until they combine. Now add 1tsp of ground paste to it and mix.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Fry the coated banana pieces until golden brown. Press cancel. Remove and keep aside.
Press sauté. Add cumin seeds, carom seeds, onion to the existing oil and sauté for 3 mins.
Add tomato puree and sauté until oil separates from the mixture. Then add the ground masala and stir.
Further add in turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder and mix until you get a solid paste of all the ingredients.
Now add curd and stir cook for 3 mins. Add the fried bananas and let it cook for a minute. Later add salt with 1 cup of water and open cook for 3 mins.
Once done switch to ‘keep warm or off’ mode. Give it a quick stir. Garnish it with dried fenugreek leaves and chopped coriander leaves
